Not to get started, but it helps more than anything else. A current survey tells us — and your building department — exactly where your property line sits and where easements run. If you don't have one, we'll tell you during the estimate whether you need to order one.
We can give you a per-linear-foot range by material — chain link $12–$22, wood $18–$36, aluminum $25–$45, vinyl $28–$50. What we won't do is quote a total without measuring. Both, and they're separate processes with separate timelines. We prepare and file the permit with the correct authority for your address, and assemble the HOA architectural submission — specifications, colors, drawings, site plan. We won't schedule installation until both are approved.
